Sourcebrook builds ownership data for US healthcare from public records: which company owns which practice, how platforms grow, and which practices are still independent. It is run by its founder, Kevin Koshy, from India.
01 / Why
Most consolidation never makes the news.
Practices change owners one at a time, and most of those moves are never announced. The records still show them: every therapist bills Medicare through an organisation, and the organisation names who stands behind it.
What we do
We read the public CMS files, tie each billing organisation to the platform that owns it where a public source shows the tie, and count its clinicians quarter by quarter. A tie counts from the day its source was public, so history reads as it was known at the time.
Who it is for
Private equity, operators and advisers who need to see a market clearly before they act: who holds each state and metro, which platforms are growing, and which practices have no tie found.
What it is not
Counts of public records, not head counts, ratings or forecasts. No clinician is named. Not investment advice.

Every claim can be checked.
Public records only
Medicare enrollment (PECOS), the NPI registry (NPPES) and Care Compare, published by CMS, plus the platforms' own clinic lists, press releases and SEC filings for the ties.
Tests published, failures included
Our counts followed the reported numbers of 3 of 5 listed chains; the ones that failed, and why, are on the proof page. Each state's own checks are on the coverage page.
Every number recounted
A second program recounts every published number before release (349 of 349 matched).
